FLAN 2 C sugar 12 eggs 2 14 oz. cans of sweetened condensedmilk 28 oz. whole milk 5 t vanilla 1) Carmelize sugar in double boiler (French House lacks a double boiler as of 11/8/03. You can use a cast-iron pan instead, but be careful not to burn the sugar.) 2) Pour hot syrup into the bottom of a clean (not greased) 9x13 pan. The sugar will harden as it cools. 3) Mix the remaining ingredients and add to the pan of hardened sugar 4) Cook for 1 hour (or until toothpick comes out clean) in a hot water bath 5) Refridgerate for atleast 4-6 hours, but preferably overnight
