Seneca Falls Co-op

Application for Membership at Seneca Falls Co-op: International Students

If you are currently residing in Austin, or will be at the time you plan to apply, please use the instructions and application for local applicants.

In order to be considered for membership at Seneca, you must complete the following (safe and enjoyable) steps:

1. Fill out an application. You can write to us for an application or download the PDF version. Applications must be filled out completely and emailed to us or mailed to our address, which is:

2. Talk to our Membership Officer, either on the phone or online. We'd like to have a quick conversation with you to describe what life is like at Seneca and answer any questions you might have. Email the Membership Officer or call (110)512-633-7975 to arrange a time that is convenient for you.

Our Membership Officer will contact you within two weeks to let you know if we have any openings at the cooperative. Again, we would like to stress that this policy is designed for both you and us to be sure that Seneca life is right for you and not to exclude anyone based on age, gender, religion, race, political affiliation, national origin, sexual orientation, or anything of that nature. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our house and feel that one of the most valuable aspects of communal living is an exposure to people of different backgrounds and viewpoints. The primary purpose of our membership policy is therefore to simply make sure that the co-operative aspects of the house (e.g. labor, community spirit, house improvement) run as smoothly as possible.
