The Membership Council is composed of one elected representative from each house community. Any and all ICC members are invited to attend meetings to speak at member open time. Members can decide on how to make ICC run smoothly across all houses. VOTE WITH YOUR HOUSED TO PICK YOUR MEMCO REP BY NOV 13!!! Coopers should be the ones making decisions about their own homes!

The Membership Council supports ICC Austin’s goa

The Membership Council supports ICC Austin’s goal of creating healthy, equitable community environments. The Membership Council will review and discuss member feedback and create plans to align house-level operations. The Membership Council will also work with ICC Austin members to solve day-to-day community operation issues.

Responsibilities

-Discuss house operational issues using an equity lens and determine solutions that can be implemented organization-wide
-Plan, coordinate, and facilitate (and attend) Spring and Fall GMM.
-Review responses to the semesterly Exit Survey and use them to inform future discussions and projects.
-Nurture ICC-wide inter-house community relations.
-Develop processes for maintaining institutional memory throughout ICC Austin.
-Other tasks/projects/discussions as needed.

Composition

The Membership Council is composed of elected representatives from each house community. Any and all ICC members are invited to attend meetings to speak at member open time. However, only Membership Council members will vote on Council matters.
